Painting on Amalfi paper – The apostles’ alley<\/em><\/h2>\n

Painting realized by the artistic workshop of Lo Scrigno di Santa Chiara using oil pastels on Amalfi handmade paper.<\/p>\n

This work depicts one of the characteristic streets of Amalfi in the labyrinth of its suggestive historical alleys.<\/p>\n

This view is located behind the main square and is one of the openings that go beyond the foundations of the cathedral.<\/p>\n

The artist, thanks to a good use of proportions and chiaroscuro, perfectly frames the feeling of a doorway to an unknown darkness.<\/p>\n

On the left side of the painting, the lower part of the cathedral, where the old Amalfi prisons were once located.<\/p>\n

A strong artistic result with strong colors, which stops on paper the magic of walking in the delicate atmosphere of the coastal town.<\/p>\n

The painting is dated 2020 and bears the original signature of the author in the lower right corner.<\/p>\n
